Chris began his career as a researcher at Granada and quickly moved on to directing documentaries and studio shows. From there, he moved across to drama and directed the opening episode of Brookside, early episodes of Eastenders and a variety of other series including Dr Who, The Bill, Casualty etc. Chris then became a producer on The Bill and has gone on to produce Ballykissangel, Black Cab, Trial and Retribution, Born and Bred, The Ghost Squad and series 1 and 2 of Skins.
