David W. Zucker is President of Television for Scott Free, and Executive Producer of the CBS hit drama, NUMB3RS, now in its fourth season. During his tenure, Scott Free has also produced a steady stream of longform programs including A&E's forthcoming mini-series, THE ANDROMEDA STRAIN, adapted from Michael Crichton's landmark novel, and HBO's CHURCHILL AT WAR, sequel to the Emmy-winning telefilm THE GATHERING STORM, which will air in 2009. Recently, TNT's epic six-hour spy thriller, THE COMPANY, was nominated for a Golden Globe and Broadcast Film Critics Award as Best Television Film.
In the pilot arena, Scott Free has partnered with Cliffhanger to develop THE NETWORK for the BBC, while U.S. network productions include LAW DOGS, a public defender dramedy, and ORPHEUS, about a young man who falls in love with a woman in a cult.
Prior to joining Scott Free, Zucker wrote multiple episodes on the popular CBS series, JUDGING AMY, as well as pilot scripts for CBS, ABC, and various stage plays. Zucker also served as Vice President of Drama Series for CBS, and Vice President of Drama Series and Current Programs at Warner Bros. Television, overseeing such shows as "E.R.," "Lois & Clark," "Knots Landing" and "Murphy Brown."
