Sally Haynes
Controller of Drama Commissioning, ITV
Sally Haynes joined ITV as Deputy Controller of Drama in April 2006 from the BBC where she was Executive Producer, BBC Drama Series and Serials.
Sally joined the BBC in 1991 as a script editor and worked on a variety of programmes including Casualty, The Choir and Out Of The Blue. In 1995 she left the BBC to become Deputy Head of Drama at HTV working on a slate of projects including Poldark and Wycliffe. She returned to the BBC in 1998 before joining United as a Producer and Executive Producer where she worked on projects including Where the Heart Is and Hearts and Bones.
In 2001 Sally returned to the BBC as Executive Producer in the Drama Serials department working with Laura Mackie through the merger of the department with Drama Series before becoming Senior Executive Producer responsible for the development of Drama produced in Manchester and Birmingham.
Her other recent BBC credits include Canterbury Tales, Cutting It, Blackpool and Bleak House.
