In 2001 Sam Conniff and Michelle Clothier formed Livity, where they developed a shared vision for a company delivering social marketing to the public and private sectors. Livity's clients include Department for Education and Skills, Talk To Frank, Sony PlayStation, Red Bull, Enterprise Insight, Teenage Cancer Trust and publishers Penguin.

Sam, Michelle and Livity also founded Live Futures, the non-profit social enterprise that works directly with teenagers and young people mentoring them through the process of producing, creating and managing a magazine. Live Futures is backed by local, central and European government and also works with brands and partners ranging from MTV, The Guardian, The Dazed Group, Nike and 02.

Sam is also one of 25 UK Social Enterprise Ambassadors sponsored by the Cabinet Office promoting responsible business practices around the world. He is chair of Made In Brixton, London's largest independent collaborative network of creative and cultural industries and he is a local school governor at the Livity School.

In 2004 Livity secured support from the government initiative Talk to Frank for Dubplate Drama series 1 and has been instrumental in securing key broadcast, marketing and media partnerships for series 2.
